Candidates would get the DU LLB Entrance Exam Application Form 2017 through online mode. Candidates can fill the application form from the fourth week of April 2017. Last date to fill the application form will be the last week of May 2017
Eligibility for Admission:
The eligibility criteria for General, Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) candidates are as given in the Ordinance.
i. The eligibility criteria* for admission to LL.B. Degree course is as follows:-
a. For General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates, Graduate/Post-Graduate Degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as equivalent by the University of Delhi with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade point in the aggregate in either of them. However, the cut off marks for admission of OBC candidates shall be up to 10% less than the marks notified for general candidates in the Entrance Test.
b. Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility prescribed for general candidates will be allowed to Other Backward Classes (OBC) category. (In compliance of the judgement of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in P.V. Indiresan v. Union of India and Others).
c. Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility prescribed for general candidates will be allowed to widows/wards of defense personnel (CW) category.
d. Relaxation of up to 5% marks in the minimum eligibility prescribed for general candidates will be allowed to the candidates belonging to physically handicapped (PH) category on the recommendations of the Medical Board as per the prescribed procedure.
DU LLB Entrance Exam 2017 Application Form
Candidates have to pay Rs. 500 (for unreserved/OBC category) &Rs. 250 (For SC/ST/PwD category). The fee can be paid via online or offline mode.
· Candidates have to complete the graduation degree in any discipline.
· Candidates have to secure minimum 50% marks (for general), 45% marks (for OBC) & 40% marks (for SC/ST).
· There is 5% relaxation in the qualifying marks for widows/wards of ex-servicemen/serving personal (CW) & Physically Handicapped (PH).
DU LLB Entrance Exam Pattern
a. The Exam pattern is mentioned below:
b. Mode of Exam: The exam will be held through offline mode (Pen Paper mode).
c. Type of Questions: The question will be the objective type.
d. Exam Duration: The duration of entrance test will be two hours.
e. Language: The question paper will come in English language.
f. No. of Questions: Total 100 question will be asked in the examination.
g. Marking Scheme: For correct response, 4 marks will be allotted to the candidates.
h. Negative Marks: For incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted.
DU LLB Entrance Exam Syllabus
